FAQ’S

  • My rates vary based on the shoot or project! Just send me DM or fill out a contact form & let me know what you’re looking for and I can send over my rate (:

  • I shoot couples, portraits, elopement, weddings & brands! Unfortunately, I do not take family shoots.

  • I am based on Oahu, HI but I do travel a lot throughout the year! I usually post the places I am traveling on my Instagram story @bysofiaconte (:

  • Yes I do!! If you want to hire me but want me to come to you, I would absolutely love to!

  • Shoots: 2-3 weeks

    Elopements: 6-8 weeks

    Weddings: 8-12 weeks

    Brands: 2-3 weeks

  • I usually recommend leaning towards lighter, more neutral colors. They just photograph so beautifully. That said, if that is not your personal style and doesn’t feel like you, please feel free to wear what makes you feel comfortable and beautiful! I do also have a Pinterest board for inspo that I can send you when we are planning the shoot!

  • I use a Canon R6 and a 24-70mm lens! It is my favorite setup ever. I have no complaints about it (:

  • Lightroom classic!! I don’t use any presets & I edit every gallery from scratch.

  • Yes!!! I shoot on Super 8! I do not offer digital video though. Just film!

We can the chat details of what you’re looking for in your shoot & I will send over my rates!

THE FUN PART - now we get to plan details!! I will ask for a Pinterest inspo board so I can get an idea of what you like. We also plan location, time and outfits!

DURING THE SHOOT

YAY! We’ve made it to shoot day! When we arrive at the location we have chosen, I will give you a little 2 minute pep talk to just go over what you can expect from the shoot!

One of the most common concerns is that people can tend to feel uncomfortable in front of the camera & not know how to pose. No worries at all! I will be directing you/guiding you THE WHOLE SHOOT! I will also do everything I can to make the shoot fun. We chat and listen to music to just make it as comfortable & enjoyable of an experience as possible (:
